Also called a general overhaul, complete maintenance involves repairing the watch as a whole, restoring both the functional and aesthetic aspects. It is made up of the following operations:
-Complete disassembly of the movement;
-Inspection of wear and defects;
-Cleaning, replacement of components (if necessary), reassembly, lubrication, precision adjustment and verification of movement functions;
-Replacement of pointers, if necessary;
-Battery replacement (in the case of quartz mechanisms);
-Fine adjustment in precision.
-Dismantling the box;
-Reconditioning (polishing) of the case, metal bracelet and clasp in accordance with the brands' specifications and finishing standards;
-Washing the case, bracelet and clasp;
-Replacement of sealing gaskets and other sealing items, if necessary, such as crowns, pulsators, valves, etc.;
-Reassembly of the box;
-Restoration of water resistance.
- Detailed control of the functions and appearance of the watch.
